The Faculty of Management
The Faculty’s main research activities focus on economic sciences (economics and management). The majority of research disciplines include the theoretical and applied aspects of organization and management, micro- and macroeconomics, entrepreneurship, marketing, accounting, human resource management, knowledge and information management, tourist economics, decision processes, finance, modeling and forecasting socio-economic phenomena. Research conducted by the Faculty goes beyond the scope of economic sciences. Some research activities have an interdisciplinary character, referring to mathematical sciences (the most represented area is IT, and the main research subjects include information systems, internet technologies, computer system security, artificial intelligence, knowledge representation) as well as humanities (the science of cognizance, social communication, sociology).
